FAWWA has organised not one, not two but three amazing events on the 28th of July.
Workshop #2 Creating Through Chance
Learn the process of using chance operations and creating experimental texts with Scott- Patrick Mitchell, co-author of the forthcoming experimental nooks Interactive Geographies II. This workshop will see participants create experimental work which will then be used to create a collaborative text in the afternoon.
This workshop is for anyone interested in creating experimental texts.
Time: 11am-1pm
Location: Mattie Furphy House in the Bush Heritage Precinct next to Allen Park on Kirkwood Street, Swanbourne

The Launch of Scott-Patrick Mitchell’s

Following on from his wildly successful month long Emerging Writer-In-Residence with the Fellowship of Australian Authors WA (FAAWA), Scott-Patrick itchell (SPM) will be launching his third chapbook, the rutting season, published through Mulla Mulla Press. This afternoon event will provide readers with an intimate performance of work from this exciting new collection by SPM, who is known for his award winning performance style that lifts his experimental and energetic verse. This event will also allow SPM the opportunity to showcase the work yielded from his residency, and also introduce visitors to the unique spaces which exists within Mattie Furphy House.
the rutting season will be available for purchase on the day (RRP $15), as will be an array of beverages and light snacks. This launch is a free event not to be missed.
